Woodall Construction History

Woodall Construction Co. Limited was established by two of the eleven Woodall brothers who immigrated to Canada in 1909. The family originally settled in Winnipeg upon arriving in Canada and Bill and Fred Sr. made their way to Windsor, Ontario, from there. Bill and Fred Sr. started a masonry firm in Windsor and were joined by two of Bill's sons, Les and Fred Jr. in the 1920's.

Over the next several years, the family continued together until Bill Woodall retired, Fred Sr. passed away and Les went into the golf driving range business in the 1940's. It was at this time that Fred Jr. was joined by another brother, Gordon. The company expanded into general contracting, its current operational model, about 1948.
